Honda have designed heavy bikes much comfortable to another. I've long wondered just what goes on in a design meeting at Honda. They’re such a conservative company in so many ways, and yet every now and again there is some sort of corporate spasm that provokes the development of something just a little special. Sometimes, of course, it’s also a little bit over the top, like a fantastic bike but so expensive that nobody bought one. In a rare interview last week with MCN, Takagi said the bike will be a “new breed of Honda”, which is a phrase we’ve heard Honda saying a lot of recently. There certainly seems to be a cultural shift occurring in the Honda ranks.
